Extract Technology is delighted to announce the company has been shortlisted for Employer of the Year in the Examiner Business Awards.
The Examiner Business Awards is the biggest and longest-standing business awards in the region with a history of recognising and rewarding successful businesses across all sectors. Companies excelling in international trade, innovation and community involvement are invited to a glittering ceremony at the John Smith’s Stadium when category finalists will join a judging panel and leading figures from the business community to share a night of celebration.
There are also categories for new businesses, creative businesses, established firms, small and medium-sized enterprises, employers and up-and-coming young business people.
This year over 130 businesses applied over a range of categories. The judging panel consisting of Sarah Haller, of law firm Chadwick Lawrence, Adrian Lythgo, chief executive of Kirklees Council; Prof Bob Cryan, vice-chancellor of the University of Huddersfield; and Sandra Babbings, managing director of occupational health specialist PROHMS Ltd., chaired by Examiner business editor Henryk Zientek were faced with the difficult job of choosing the 30 finalist.
Entrants this year come from a wide range of business sectors including food and drink; property, marketing and public relations; retail; logistics, technology, energy consultancy, manufacturing, finance and hospitality.
Alan Wainwright, the Global Managing Director of Extract comments:
“Being shortlisted for the Employer of the Year award is a great achievement for Extract Technology, which we all feel very proud of. This once again endorses the hard work taking place by everyone at Extract as we look to continually develop and improve our business”.
The winning companies in each category as well as the Business Person of the Year will be announced on 3rd November 2016 during the celebratory awards dinner.
