Project Manager, USA
Extract Technology is seeking a Project Manager in the New Lisbon, Wisconsin office! Extract Technology is a leading provider of containment and aseptic systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech, nuclear and chemical markets. The Project Manager is responsible for project management and assisting with designing and planning of projects/products to meet customer requirements, quality and profitability objectives and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
• Work with estimating department to assign mark-up that will secure business while meeting company cost objectives
• Use engineering methods to design units which meet all regulatory, quality, profitability and customer requirements
• Design and complete project layouts, incorporating customer specifications
• Provide design information to drafting team to assure accurate drawings
• Coordinate with manufacturing team to ensure timely and accurate production
• Communicate with customers to clarify details, answer customer needs and provide technical information as needed
• Trouble shoot and resolve any problems that interfere with timely, accurate production of the units
• Responsible for updating, maintaining and releasing all pertinent documentation
• Review every project upon completion and provides close out report summary
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of sense of urgency to maintain customer satisfaction
• Assist in making changes in methods, design or equipment where necessary for continued cost reduction
• Work with Engineering, Estimating and Sales teams to develop new system or equipment designs
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and regulations by obtaining documents or attending seminars offered in the pharmaceutical and nuclear industries
• Ensure compliance through support of safety policies and instruct others in safety rules and regulations
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of related experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical applications
• Ability to read, interpret and apply blueprints, weld symbols and procedures
• General knowledge of ANSI drawing standards
• Willingness to travel periodically, as needed
• Experience with custom equipment in the pharmaceutical and/or nuclear industry is highly preferred
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sterilization methods is highly preferred
