Project Manager, UK
Here at Extract Technology we’re looking for a Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the consistent and professional execution of key projects, managing time, cost, and quality to deliver our world class containment and aseptic products.
The role will require a great track record in delivering projects on time, in full and within budget. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and/or with containment solutions would be beneficial as would experience in the engineering or manufacturing sector. We’re looking for someone with a mechanically focused HNC or HND.
Key duties include
· Ensuring all allocated projects are owned and executed in accordance with our procedures and customer requirements
· Manage all commercial matters associated with the projects, including defining and executing appropriate contract and purchasing strategy and managing any changes during the lifecycle of the project,
· Manage all project activities in accordance with the agreed contract
· Build rapport and good working relationships with clients
· Manage client expectations and use excellent communication skills to ensure that customers expectations are understood and met
· Produce and issue regular reports detailing project performance from start to finish including project closure reports and reviews
· Identify and evaluate technical, commercial, and business risks and ensure they are understood and managed appropriately
· Oversee project expenditure within budget
· Ensure all teams within the business are working collaboratively to deliver the project as agreed and lead project review meetings
The ideal candidate will have the following
Essential:
· HNC/HND Mechanical or equivalent qualification
· Track record of delivering projects in full, on time and within budget
· Project Management experience
· Subcontract Management experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Great teamwork skills
· Effective and proactive approach to time management
Desirable
· Experience in an engineering/production environment
· Honours Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
· Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working with containment solutions and/or HVAC
